TIP 001: Drain Cleaner~

Pour 1 part of bicarbonate of soda down the drain followed by 1/2 part of white vinegar. Leave overnight and rinse with warm water. It will clean, deodorise and keep your drains clear.

TIP 002: Natural Moth Repellent~
Eco-tips Cleaning
Mothballs contain naphthalene which can be dangerous when ingested, inhaled or when coming in contact with skin. Cedar wood is a natural moth repellent. Place cedar wood balls and/or a few drops of cedar essential oil in your cupboard for the same effect.

TIP 003: Clean and fresh dishwashing~

For clear glasses and general freshening up of your dishwasher, save lemons used for cooking and place them in the cutlery tray (1/2 lemon each time should suffice). It will work like magic during your washing cycle.

TIP 004: Mildew~
Eco-tips Cleaning
Tea Tree essential oil is a powerful antibacterial agent yet safe to use. It is very effective against mildew, fungi and moulds. Just add 2 teaspons of tea tree oil to 2 cups of water and keep in a spray bottle. Spray regularly on infected areas. Do not rinse. You can also soak your shower curtain in a solution of 2 teaspoons of tea tree oil for 5 litre of water to prevent mildew and fungi building up.
