Because of their perishable nature we had to include special Terms and Conditions for our Flower Delivery Service.
Bouquets are delivery using Royal Mail Next Day Service and are charged as follows:
If you place an order by 11am we can deliver to the majority of the UK the next day.
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver on a Sunday, Monday, or the day immediately following a public holiday. In the unlikely event that an order has been placed for delivery on any of these days and we are unable to contact you in time, we will deliver, where possible, the flowers the day before or the day after the date requested.
GUIDELINES TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY:
Please ensure that the recipient address you provide is accurate.
A signature will be required for all deliveries. Should the recipient be away at the time of delivery a card will be left by Royal Mail stating the delivery was attempted. The recipient will then be required to collect the package from the relevant Royal Mail sorting office at their earliest convenience. If the flower delivery is a surprise gift we recommend follow up contact from the sender to the recipient to ensure that the perishable nature of the package is understood and it is retrieved from the sorting office within 24 hours of the expected delivery time
DELIVERIES TO BUSINESSES, HOSPITALS AND UNIVERSITIES:
In some circumstances, for example, when delivering to some business addresses, hospitals or universities, it may not be possible to deliver the flowers directly to the intended recipient. Please note that these circumstances are outside our control. In this case, the flowers will be delivered to the reception area or post room where a signature will be collected. This signature will be our record of delivery.
To ensure the highest likelihood of delivery success, please ensure that you provide as much information regarding the location of the recipient as possible within the delivery instructions, including department name, floor number, etc.
All deliveries made to hospitals must include the ward name and or number in the address. Any order omitting these details may not be accepted for delivery by the hospital. It is also important for you to check that the hospital/ward accepts cut flowers as we are not responsible for refunds in the event that the hospital refuses to 'receive' the flowers. Deliveries to hospitals can often prove problematic as patients are moved from ward to ward, or are discharged. This means that we sometimes are unable to deliver orders for customers at a very emotional time. However, many of these problems can be resolved by ensuring that we have accurate and up-to-date information about the ward that the recipient is in. It is particularly important that you provide the full name of the recipient of the order as there can be several patients with the same name and this can lead to difficulties in delivery.
If you wish to order flowers for delivery to a business address, we recommend that you ensure delivery is made within office hours.
Due to the size of university campuses, it can often be difficult to locate recipients at universities. We are therefore not able to deliver to recipients themselves and will always deliver to the university post room or reception. Please ensure that you include enough information for the post room/reception staff to be able to locate the intended recipient of the flowers. We are not liable for the non-delivery of flowers to recipients at universities as we have no control of the delivery once it reaches the post room/reception.
REFUND POLICY/SERVICE GUARANTEE:
•If you are not satisfied with the product you ordered once it is delivered, please call us on 08454633835 or email us at email@example.com . We will review the comments you have and should the cause be related to circumstances that are within our control, we will consider a full refund and re-delivery of your chosen product.
•If the product you ordered was damaged on receipt, we will offer a full refund or a re-delivery of the product at the next convenient date for your recipient.
•If the product you have chosen was delivered late, we will refund the full cost of delivery on the affected order.
•In the event of non delivery as the recipient is unavailable, the flowers will be returned to the nearest Royal Mail sorting office and a calling card will be left at the address advising the recipient to collect their package at their earliest convenience. If, the flowers are not collected from the sorting office within 24 hours of the original delivery attempt and are found to be in poor condition on opening we are regrettably unable to offer a refund or complimentary re-delivery.
CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER:
If you wish to make any changes to your order please call us on 08454633835 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that any changes to your order (such as delivery address, gift message) must be made at least 2 working days prior to requested delivery date to ensure that we have time to amend your order prior to dispatch. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accept changes made to your order after that time.
We do our best to ensure your flowers arrive in perfect condition, on very rare occasions, flowers arrive at their destination damaged as a result of transportation. If the recipient receives damaged flowers, please contact us immediately on 08454633835 so that we can arrange one of the following:
Because of their perishable nature, flowers are non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
A card can be included with your bouquet with your personal message. Just fill out the "Gift Message" box on our order form (Step 5 at the checkout).
You must agree that any messages posted by you on your card or sent by us on your behalf to a third party will not contain anything which could be construed as harassing, threatening, vulgar, abusive, obscene, defamatory, racist or which may cause embarrassment or distress to any person or are otherwise unlawful or objectionable.
All bouquets are wrapped using biodegradable cellophane, recycled paper and jute ribbon ties. Hand tied and gift wrapped flowers are delivered in a hessian water bubble (‘aqua-pack’) to keep the flowers fresh. Surrounding your fresh flowers with layers of unbleached protective tissue ensures your delivery will arrive in the same condition it was sent.
